Flexible and highly customizable translator
TranslateIt! Deluxe is a very fast offline dictionary that includes several dictionaries by default but also allows you to add many, many more.
The dictionaries that are included are Russian, English, French and German but you can add many many more. You can use TranslateIt! Deluxe offline unless you're using the full text translation tool for larger chunks of text. TranslateIt! Deluxe also works with StarDict, Babylon, XDXF and Apple dictionaries. In fact, it can import just about any free online dictionary.
TranslateIt! Deluxe works simply by hovering your mouse over a chunk of text. This works very well but can be annoying when translated text starts popping-up wherever you move your mouse. TranslateIt! also attempts to offer more accurate translations via a morphology dictionary. Uniquely, TranslateIt! Deluxe also comes with a speech synthesizer that speaks translations and text.
TranslateIt! Deluxe is a powerful translation tool that can get annoying with hovering translations but can handle almost any dictionary you throw at it.
